International Projects

Fishbowl is involved in many different International Actions

Transnational co-operation provides opportunities, not just for young people, youth workers and organisations, but also for the sharing of expertise and the development of good youth work practice.

The participation of young people as active citizens, fully aware of their rights and responsibilities, will contribute greatly to the process by which an ever closer union is forged between the peoples of the world. It is important that young people are given the scope to experiment with new ideas, to create and to participate.

Many of our International Activities are organised through the European Youth in Action programme, which general objectives are very close to our own. through this programme our exchanges are hosted, but also the European Voluntary Service, Training Courses and Seminars.

We also receive support from the National Youth Development Education Programme (NYDEP). one of our members has been to Zambia for their annual One World Week Zambia Ireland exchange and another member went to New York to the youth Millennium development goals summit.
